The annual Fiesta of Five Flags Celebration starts with the Fiesta Days Celebration at Seville Quarter and a lighthearted reenactment of the surrender of the city to Spanish explorer Don Tristan De Luna, who first landed in Pensacola in 1559. Celebrate the founding of Pensacola as the first European settlement in the United States in 1559 by Spanish Conquistador Don Tristan De Luna.

The Santa Rosa Island Authority presents "Sounds of Summer," a summer concert series to keep your hips swaying and your fingers snapping all summer long. The free concerts will be held three nights a week at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk, overlooking the pristine Santa Rosa Sound. Local musicians will entertain families from 6-8 p.m. most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In this hilarious comedy, Sheridan Whiteside, theatre critic, lecturer, and radio personality, who, arriving to dine at the home of the prominent Stanley family in a small Midwestern town, slips on their doorstep and injures his hip. A tumultuous six weeks of confinement follow, during which whiteside monopolizes the living room and takes over the Stanley household. Before it's over, the outrageous has become commonplace.
